Printing Press Operator - (2 color)


• A local printing company is currently seeking applicants for a full time offset printing press operator position. Applicant must have at least 3-5 years of experience operating an offset printing press, including equipment set-up, operation and conducting in-process quality inspections. This individual must be able to work 1st shift until training is completed. After training is finished, this individual will then work 2nd shift. Our 2nd shift work hours are Monday-Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:30 am (4 -10 hour days). Individual must be able to work overtime when necessary.
• Physical demands of this position include extensive standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 lbs. Potential candidate must be able to take direction, follow policy and procedures, and possess the mechanical aptitude/ability to make basic machine repair/adjustments.

Envelope Press Operator

Extraordinary attention to detail, ability to produce a high quality printed product on a one, two, or four color Halm Jet Press; constantly improving process and increasing productivity without sacrificing quality; must be able to stand for extended periods of time, able to read and understand production specifications, able to lift 65# packages, able to follow company procedures and paperwork. Experience preferred but will train an appropriate candidate.

Bindery Operator

Must be able to set up and run a Stahl mini folder. Having some experience of operating a Horizon booklet maker would be a plus. The applicant must be a self starter, pay close attention to folding instructions and work well under tight deadlines. Lifting and bending are required to do this job. Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. We are willing to train the right applicant.

Commercial Print Shop has an opening for an entry-level position in order processing. Looking for a candidate with the following skills: ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and efficiently, prioritize workload, multi-task, attention to detail, proficient keyboarding. The candidate will also be required to answer phones and help customers with their order status.
